Website and early-access terms

Updated 20 October 2026. PlugNear introduces a planned India-first charging marketplace and provides an early-access app and local fleet-planning tool. These terms describe that experience, not a completed charging or payment service.

Early access

Do not treat illustrative images, product previews or planning assumptions as actual charger inventory, verified electrical specifications or guaranteed charging availability. App workflows may be incomplete. The pilot supports requests to verified hosts and direct UPI after host acceptance. Use only the payee and amount shown for the confirmed booking, and verify them in your UPI app. Opening UPI or reporting a transfer is not proof of receipt.

Responsible use

Use an account you control, provide accurate information, and do not attempt to access another person’s account or private data. Hosts need permission to operate and appropriate equipment, electrical supply and safe vehicle access. Compatibility must be assessed for the specific vehicle, charger and site. Do not use a generic socket or adapter on the basis of a category label.

Fleet planning

The planner is an illustrative calculator. It is not an electrical engineering design, price quote, capacity guarantee or charging reservation. Downloading a brief does not submit an enquiry or create a contract.

Direct UPI pilot

Funds move directly from the driver to the host. PlugNear does not hold funds, provide escrow, independently verify the bank transfer or automatically process refunds. The host must check actual receipt before confirming and starting the physical charging session. For a cancelled, failed or disputed session, contact the host and support before further payment; any required refund must be arranged and verified with the host. Do not treat a driver screenshot as bank verification.

Further marketplace services

Charging, booking, cancellations, settlement, refunds and hosting terms will need to be provided before those services become available. Hosting earnings and app-store availability are not guaranteed. If you cannot accept the current early-access limits, do not rely on the app for charging.
