Looking for an EV charger near you?
To find a suitable electric vehicle charging point, check four things: its location, connector, current availability and price. PlugNear’s early-access marketplace helps drivers request charging from verified hosts where listings are available.
Open PlugNear to find a charger →
Allow location access when prompted, then review nearby listings. Location access requires your permission. A map marker alone does not reserve a charger.
PlugNear is a pilot. Coverage depends on approved listings and verified hosts; a suitable charger may not yet be available near you. We do not claim nationwide live coverage.
How to find and request a charge
- Find: Open the app and use your location to discover nearby chargers. Review the connector, power, price and host availability.
- Request: Sign in using an available method, choose a session and send a request. Wait for the host to confirm before travelling or paying.
- UPI checkout: For a confirmed booking, review the recipient and amount, then use the UPI link or QR. Submit your payment reference. The host checks receipt manually; submitting a reference does not verify a bank transfer.
- Charge: Follow directions and the host’s access instructions. The host confirms receipt and starts and finishes the session. PlugNear cannot remotely energise an ordinary socket.
Which charger works with my car, taxi or bike?
Check your vehicle manufacturer’s charging instructions. Cars and taxis may use Type 2 AC or CCS2 DC, depending on the vehicle. Bikes, scooters and three-wheelers may need a manufacturer-approved portable charger or a specific connector. Connector shape alone does not establish compatibility. Confirm power, electrical safety and host permission before connecting; do not improvise adapters or extension leads.
Is a nearby charger available right now?
Availability can change. Review the latest status and wait for a confirmed request. Do not assume that a listing is open, suitable for your vehicle, or accessible without the host’s instructions.
What does EV charging cost?
Review the listed price and the booking’s displayed total before confirming. The pilot’s direct UPI checkout shows the host’s recipient details and booking amount. Check both inside your UPI app. PlugNear does not independently verify transfers, hold funds or provide automatic refunds. If a payment is pending, check your bank history and contact the host before paying again.
Charging for fleets and local hosts
Planning charging for taxis, delivery bikes, three-wheelers or other commercial vehicles? Use the fleet planning tool to explore your requirements, then discuss a pilot with us. The tool is a planning estimate, not a reservation or a promise of available capacity.
Have a suitable charging location? List your charger. Host verification and charger approval are required before a listing becomes discoverable.
